Unity: Episode 7. Calm And Concerns

  It's the next day in Unity, and at Unity General, Janet wakes up in Mile's room, as he sleeps and Janet calls Hazel, in Adam's Landing, and asks "How's Mama?" Hazel tells her Sister "Dr.Jackson hasn't shown up yet. She's on life support now and Dr.Evans has told us a triple bypass will be the only thing that saves her." Janet tells her "Keep me in touch." Hazel assures her Sister, as a nurse walks inside Mary's room in the ICU at City Hospital, "I will." Janet hangs up, and holds her Father's hand, as Miles opens his eyes, and says "Where's Mama?" Janet asks her Father "Do you know who I am?" Miles goes "You look just like your Mama Janet." Janet sheds a tear, as Miles asks his Daughter "Where's Mary at?" Janet, not wanting to worry her Father, tells him "She had to go to Adam's Landing Daddy. For the church." Miles sighs "I'll cut her a break then."
   At Unity Elementary, Addie walks inside her classroom, as she has some boxes, and begins to pack her things, as Angie walks inside, and asks her Mother "So you are really retiring?" Addie goes "My mind's made up." Angie gets emotional, as she looks around the classroom and says "Mama, it's going to be so weird without you here." Addie rolls her eyes, as she tells her Daughter "Angie, you can handle things here by yourself. With that Desi in town, and my new book, I want to focus on that. I also think your Brother's keeping something from me." Angie asks her "Like?" Addie goes "Well you noticed that glow with Caroline didn't you?" Angie goes "You think?" Addie puts her hands up, and tells Angie "I'm about to be a Grandma. I feel it, and I am excited for the next phase of my life. Now you should think about your next chapter also." The bell rings, as the students begin to head to their classes, and Angie tells her Mother "This conversation isn't over." Addie nods, as she smiles "It is." Angie heads to her room, as the children enter Addie's room, and the children are loud, and Addie turns the light switch a few times, to no avail, until she yells "Excuse my french, Shut up!" The children grow quiet, as Addie begins to teach her class for the last time in her 40 year career as a teacher.
   Meanwhile at Andy's Home, Andy walks into the living room, as Bree, Summer, and Jake sits in the living room, as Summer's arm is in a cast from being accidentally shot by Floyd, and Summer tells her Sister and Cousin "I made a promise and now I plan to keep my end of the deal." Bree looks at her Sister, and tells her "Staying here I think will be good for you. Now that Jake has returned, I think I'm returning home. I got a message this morning, and it sounds like hell's about to break loose back in Adam's Landing." Andy rolls his eyes, and Summer looks at her Sister, as she asks "When are you leaving?" Bree tells her "Tomorrow. I will stay here today, and that girl, what's her name?" Andy answers "Sage." Bree nods "Yeah, I want to talk to her before I leave." Meanwhile Russell and Paul walks inside, as they bring breakfast over from a local restaurant, called "Buddy's". Russell tells his Daughter "Let me hold my Grandson." Summer hands Jake to her Father, as Russell says "I'm so glad you are safe." Paul and Bree sits next to Summer, as Andy gets a phone call and tells them "I'm headed over to the Chapel." Andy leaves, as Russell bonds with his Grandson, as Bree, Summer, holding Paul's hand, watches on.
   At Evan's office in Downtown Unity, he sits inside, as Phillip walks inside, as Evan looks at Phillip, and asks "So who paid off the loan?" Phillip looks at Evan, and tells him "I can't say, but you and Kane are still managing Unity Town Center, so you need to fill those spaces up." Evan tells Phillip "How about you and Alexandra finally open a store there. It looks like Jim's has taken the empty anchor." Phillip boasts "A huge boost for this town, and Alexandra and I aren't planning to open at the mall." Evan shakes his head, as he asks Phillip, as he reads the deal "So Class is building a store also at the mall? Did Xavier Jackson buy our mall?" Phillip looks at Evan silently for a moment, as he warns him "Don't say a damn word to Kane. I mean it!" Evan yells "You let Xavier Jackson buy our mall?" Phillip quips "It's called business Evan! It's what we do. Had I not, then guess what, Unity Town Center would be dead. Things are coming for Unity, and you best be thankful." Phillip walks out, as Evan shakes his head in disgust, as he yells "Son of a bitch sold us out. Like he and Alexandra thinks they own this town." Evan makes a phone call and says "I need you to come to town. I need your help."
   Meanwhile at Alexandra's Mansion, Desi's in the basement, as it's cold, and Alexandra turns the light on, as she walks downstairs and sings "Good Morning, Good Morning! The sun is shining! Good Morning, Good Morning pariah!" Desi looks at Alexandra with anger in her eyes, as she shrieks "Let me out of here you evil bitch!" Alexandra laughs "No Desi. I told you who was the Queen of Unity last night. It's not you." Desi yells "I almost froze to death!" Alexandra looks at Desi, and sighs "Aww. And I was hoping I'd have an ice sculpture down here when I walked down this morning. Well I cut the heat on, and I have business to tend to. Have a good day!" Alexandra heads upstairs, as Desi moves the chair over to a saw table, and attempts to free herself, as Alexandra heads out and calls Colt, who's at Buddy's, and tells him "Head over to my Mansion later and check on that bitch for me."
   At the UPD, Sage walks inside the visitation room, as the jailer brings Lynn inside, and he looks at his Daughter for a moment, and Sage tells her Father "Mom is dead." Lynn cries, as he goes "No! You killed your Mother? My soul mate?" Sage snaps "She deserved it after what she's done. Like you deserve to be locked in this damn jail!" Lynn sighs "If you are here to lay into me, then take your ass on somewhere else." Sage walks over to her Father, with anger in her eyes, as she slaps him in the Face, and yells "Wanna know how Maw and Paw are doing Dad? Maw's in City Hospital in Adam's Landing, at death's door, and Paw's here and regaining his memory. The best thing you can hope for is that Maw doesn't die! If she does, I will kill you." Lynn yells for the jailer, and Sage yells, as she walks out "Karma's a bitch you bastard!" Sage leaves, as Lynn's taken back to his cell, as remorse shows in his eyes."
   Back at Unity General, Janet sits at her Father's bedside, as he says with a smile "Mama's always going above and beyond for the Lord. She must be visiting Ruth." Janet tells her Father "Aunt Ruth passed away. She had cancer." Miles tries to get out of the bed, as he tells Janet "We need to be there Janet. Call Hazel, and Lynn, and the grand kids. We have to be there!" Janet shakes her head, as she tells her Father "Daddy, you can't be there. Mama has Hazel, Kane, and Lacey with her. She has support." Miles asks "Then why am I here?" Meanwhile Casey sits in the Chief of Staff's office, as a resignation letter sits on the desk, and Casey reads with anger in her eyes, as a man walks inside, and says "I hear Unity General's looking for a new Chief?" At Evan's office, he continues to read over the plans for Unity Town Center, as Caroline walks inside, and tells her Husband "I'm pregnant." Tears start to flow from Evan's eyes, as he hugs his Wife. Meanwhile at Mitchell's Alexandra walks inside her office, as Phillip asks his Sister "How's Desi?" Alexandra laughs "Tied up at the moment." Phillip feels a moment of content, as does Alexandra, as she pours them a drink. At Alexandra's Mansion, Desi has escaped, as she has freed herself, and walks inside Alexandra's private study, and finds a sheet of paper. Meanwhile Colt walks inside and notices Desi's gone and screams "Shit!" Colt heads upstairs, as he yells for Desi, as she hears him, and hides under Alexandra's desk.

Unity: Episode 6. Standoff: The Conclusion

   Inside The Caswell Estate, Faye falls, as Sage catches Jake, as Faye, and Summer has been shot. Faye clings to life, as Summer gets up, as she holds her shoulder, as Floyd rushes to Summer's aid, as does Tenny. The woman meanwhile stands silently, with her pistol in her hand, as she coldly says "Faye Caswell, I have waited for this for a long damn time!" Sage holds Jake, as she takes him outside, where Bree, Andy, Ciarra, Russell, Paul, and the UPD awaits, and Sage tells them "My Mother's dead, and Summer was shot also." Bree runs inside, as does Andy, Russell, Ciarra, and Paul, as Summer tells her Sister, Cousin, and Father "I was shot in the shoulder, I'm alright." Floyd is quiet, as Ciarra comforts him, as he is quiet, and tells his Wife "Let's go home." Russell asks "So who shot my Daughter?" Floyd looks at Russell, as he's silent, and Russell asks "Who shot Faye?" The woman raises her hand, and asks "So will I be arrested?" Russell shakes his head, and Tenny tells her "I think you're about to become rich beyond your wildest dreams!" Bree and Andy walk Summer out, as she's taken to Unity General, and Paul follows them. Sage holds Jake, as she looks at her Mother, and silently walks out, as she follows. Floyd looks at his Wife, and Tenny, and they tell him "It's done. Let's go home." Floyd, Ciarra, Tenny, and Precious heads out, as they return to Adam's Landing. Meanwhile the woman walks out, and the Police Chief tells her "Head with us."
   At Unity General, The Caswell Family has gathered, as Mary and Miles has been admitted, and Hazel, Janet, Phillip, Kane, and Lacey waits outside, as Casey walks out of the triage, and Hazel asks her "How's my Mama and Daddy?" Casey looks up for a moment, as she takes a deep breath, and says "Miles is lucky. We're going to clean his system and keep him for a few days. Otherwise he is healthy." Janet, holding to her Husband, and Daughter, asks "And Mama?" Casey grows silent, as she looks at them and says "Mary's had a massive heart attack. I've called City Hospital in Adam's Landing, and they can save her there. The helicopter's on the way as we speak." The Caswells all hold each other, as they break down in tears, and Hazel screams with tears in her eyes, and anger in her voice "Lynn and Faye! Those two bastards caused this! The family looks at each other, as Janet tells Hazel, Kane, and Lacey "I'll stay with Daddy. Hazel, go to Adam's Landing and be with Mama. Lacey, go with her and you also Kane." Kane tells his Aunt "I am staying here." Janet responds "Go!" Casey tells Hazel, Kane, and Lacey "Go ahead and head for Adam's Landing. Dr.Jackson's one of the top surgeons in the country, as is Dr.Evans. I'm just a doctor, and this is the best way to go." The nurse walks out and says "They're here." The Caswell Family hugs, as Hazel, Kane, and Lacey heads to Adam's Landing, to support Mary, as Janet and Phillip stays behind with Miles. Casey walks back inside the triage, as Janet looks at her Husband, and Phillip holds his Wife, as she cries.
   Meanwhile at Alexandra's Mansion in Downtown Unity, Colt arrives, as Alexandra answers the door, and Desi, gagged, and her hands tied, and blindfolded is brought inside, as Alexandra motions for him to sit her down, and Colt asks Alexandra "I thought we were killing the bitch?" Alexandra points to a door, and says "I have another idea." Alexandra looks at Desi, as she tells Colt "Take her into my basement." Colt does as directed, as Alexandra follows, and once downstairs, Alexandra pulls down the blindfold, and the gag, as Desi's arms are tied to a chair, and Desi yells "Who in the hell are you?" Alexandra looks up, and quips "Good question to ask. Who am I? Well, I am the Queen of Unity. Alexandra Mitchell Boyd, I, along with my dear Phillip, owns half of this town." Desi yells "What's your problem with me? I haven't done a damn thing to you!" Alexandra bends down, and quietly says "Yes you have. You are here, and I don't want you here. Nor does Adam's Landing." Alexandra pulls out Desi's Daughter, Rachel Lane's book, and reads a few excerpts, and goes "Davis Lane was a class act. That man has morals and class." Alexandra continues to read, as Colt looks at Alexandra, as he holds his pistol, and Desi yells "I can read! And Rachel is a self centered bitch!" Alexandra sighs "Must have taken after you? Well, from what I have read, you shouldn't breathe. And I can assure you now Desi Lane, you won't cause no problems here." Desi yells "I'm starting over! I'm here for my SON!" Colt laughs "He's a little bitch." Colt asks Alexandra "So what are you plotting?" Alexandra stares at Colt, and hands him a check, and says "Wait for me to call you." Colt walks out, as does Alexandra, as she turns off the lights, and the heat, as night has began to fall on Unity.
   At Evan's Mansion, Addie and Angie has dinner, as Evan's Wife, Caroline Gore walks into the dining room, and Addie tells them "Alexandra's planning something." Angie quips "Whatever she is planning, I'm all for it." Caroline meanwhile tells her Mother and Sister In Law "From what Evan's told me, sounds like all hell broke loose while I was away." Addie asks "So did you meet with the publisher?" Caroline tells Addie "We're good to go." Addie stands up, and tells her family "There's something I need to tell all of you." Angie, Evan, and Caroline all look on, as Addie tells them "Tomorrow's my last day as a teacher. I have given it some thought, and it's time I hang it up, and focus on Gore Publishing, and our family's real estate holdings." Angie asks her Mother "What about the kids? Mama, it won't be the same without you at the school." Addie turns to her Daughter, and tells her "Angie, you will do fine. Stop being so clingy. Things are changing, and I need to take care of my family."
   Back at Unity General, Russell and Paul arrives, as Bree and Andy sits with Summer in the triage, as Bree holds her nephew, and Summer asks her Sister "So are you heading back home?" Bree tells Summer "I am staying for a few more days, before I return.." Meanwhile Sage bumps into Janet, as she asks her Aunt "Why are you here?" Janet looks at her Niece, and tells her "Mama had a massive heart attack, and Daddy's getting his system cleaned from those drugs your Mom and Dad gave him." Sage starts to cry, and Janet hugs her Niece, and tells her "Mama's been sent to City Hospital, and your Aunt Hazel, Kane, and Lacey will be with her. You just stay with me and Phillip and we'll take care of you." Sage holds her Aunt, as they comfort each other, as Phillip gets a phone call from Alexandra, and she tells him "The ball's rolling." At the UPD, Tenny and Precious arrives, as the Police Chief asks Gabriella Kenney, the woman who killed Faye Caswell "Are you here to take Ms.Kenney back to Adam's Landing." Tenny smiles, and responds "Yes." Tenny, Gabriella, and Precious heads out, as they head back to Adam's Landing, and Gabriella, a psychic, tells Tenny "Brace yourself." Tenny looks at her, and asks, as they get inside her camaro "Why?" Gabriella turns the radio on, and Tenny is horrified. On the Interstate, Floyd and Ciarra rides together in his Pickup, as Ciarra drives, and they also have the radio is on, and Floyd says in disbelief "Oh my God." At Unity General, Bree, Andy, Russell, Paul, and Summer has the television on, as the newscaster says "A sex tape has just been sent into the station." Meanwhile Casey has checked on Miles, as she heads into the morgue to view Faye's corpse, and notices her corpse is gone, and Casey's eyes grow red, as she sighs "This isn't good."
 

Unity: Episode 5. Standoff

   Inside the Caswell Estate, Floyd's rifle, Summer's pistol, the woman's pistol, are all aimed at Faye, as Faye has her pistol aimed at Jake's head. Summer screams at Faye "Don't even think about it. Don't you dare." Faye, in a delusional, paranoid tone, says "I'm sacrificing him to God. He needs to be raised around people like me. I need a replacement. My children were disappointments." Floyd yells "Probably because their Mother was a crazy ass bitch! That's likely why!" The woman meanwhile is silent, with anger in her eyes, and doesn't say a word, as she has flashbacks, and everyone cuts the safety off on their guns. Meanwhile down in the basement, Sage notices a key, as she reaches for it, as her arm's handcuffed to a pole, and reaches for the key with her foot. Meanwhile outside, Bree, Andy, Ciarra, and Tenny stands outside, as they all are silent, and Andy tells them "I have a bad feeling about this."
   At the UPD, Lynn stands in front of Russell and Paul, as Janet has arrived as Lynn tells them "Faye has Jake. She kidnapped him. Arrest me." Russell pulls out the handcuffs, as he reads Lynn his rights, and Janet yells "Wait! He has something to do first." Janet pulls out the resignation papers, and tells her Brother "Don't you have something else to say Lynn?" Hazel walks inside, as she adds "Yeah Lynn, tell the UPD about your sick twisted plan for our Mama and Daddy. Go ahead, since the spirit's moving you, tell them!" Lynn looks around, and Hazel pulls out a pill bottle, and Paul looks at it, and Hazel tells them "They've been drugging our Daddy, and someone here can attest to that." Casey walks inside, as she tells Russell, Paul, and the UPD "Those pills can slowly kill someone." Casey hands over something, and Hazel, Janet, Russell, Paul, and the UPD reads it, and Lynn breaks down in tears, as he grabs the pen and resigns as Head Pastor of Caney Head Chapel, and an officer gets a phone call, as he tells them "The kid's at gunpoint!" Russell, Paul, Janet, Hazel, and the UPD storm out, as they head to the Caswell Estate, as Lynn's booked and taken to a cell.
   Meanwhile at Mitchell's, Phillip returns, as Alexandra asks her Brother "So how was your meeting with Xavier Jackson?" Phillip looks at his Sister and tells her "Well he has offered to lease the former Griffin's, and also build another anchor on that empty pad. He's also paid off that loan, but you have to keep your mouth shut!" Alexandra tells her Brother "His money will help this town. What is he planning?" Phillip responds "He's moving Jim's over to the Mall, but it's going to be like Wallace's." Alexandra quips "About damn time those bastards had some competition, and Xavier Jackson and Jackson Inc can really break them." Phillip nods, and responds "He now owns Unity Town Center, but he is staying silent. So this can't get out, and we're letting Evan and Kane manage, but here's something that will really get you excited." Alexandra asks with a smile "You found out something about Desi?" Phillip yells "Come inside." A man with tattoos walks inside, and Phillip responds "This guy has a score to settle." The man, named Colt Parker, tells Phillip and Alexandra "It was really nice to get that pardon from Marx." Phillip and Alexandra looks at Colt, and tells him "If you want to stay free, here's your gun, and your mission." Alexandra hands Colt a pistol, and smiles "Kill that bitch." Phillip and Alexandra hands Colt a piece of paper, and a photo, as Colt heads out, and Alexandra tells her Brother "We don't need people like her in our quiet serene town." Phillip nods, as he pours him, and Alexandra a drink, and they sit back, with content in their eyes, as Addie and Angie walks inside, and Alexandra looks at her friends, along with Phillip, as she says "Desi's time in Unity will be limited."
  At Hazel's Home, Lacey arrives, as does Kane, as Mary tells her Grandchildren "Popper needs to go to Unity General." Lacey, a nurse checks on her Grandfather, as he asks her "Who in the hell are you?" Mary meanwhile looks at Kane, as Evan walks inside and Mary holds her Grandson, as she cries "Your Mama was right. Janet was right. How can Lynn try to hurt his Daddy like this? How?" Evan tells Mary "Mrs.Caswell, Lynn's turned himself in, and he's also signed the resignation." Mary looks at Evan, and Kane  tells his Grandmother "Mama and Aunt Hazel's at the UPD right now, and Faye's holding Summer's Son at gunpoint." Mary cries "Oh my stars! This is a nightmare. A pure nightmare." Meanwhile Lacey looks at her Grandmother, and tells her "Call 911." Evan calls, as Mary grabs her arm, and falls to the ground. Kane rushes to his Grandmother's aid, as Lacey looks at her Cousin, and Evan, and tells both of them "I know I'm not supposed to feel this way, but I hope somebody kills Faye after the shit she and Lynn has put our family through." Evan and Kane agrees, as the paramedics arrive.
   Meanwhile, Desi pulls up at Gene's, and gets out of her car, as a pistol is pointed in her face, as Colt says "Your time here is done." At the Caswell Estate, the standoff inside continues, as Faye holds Jake, as he cries, and Faye screams "Shut up!" Floyd keeps his aim on Faye, as does Summer, and the woman, as Faye yells "Don't you dare make a move!" Meanwhile Sage sneaks into the living room, as she's freed herself, and holds a knife. Outside, Russell, Paul, and the Police has arrived, as Andy, Bree, and Ciarra holds onto each other, as Tenny holds Precious' leash, and says to herself "This is the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life." Tenny hands the leash to Ciarra, as she pulls out her pistol, and walks inside, as they yell "No!" At Unity General, Mary and Miles are rushed into the Emergency Room, as Casey arrives, along with Hazel and Janet, as does Phillip, as Kane and Lacey has followed the paramedics, and the Caswell family rushes into the triage. Back at the Caswell Estate, Russell, Paul, and the UPD officers stand down, as Ciarra looks at Andy and Bree, and tells them "Floyd's in there, and now my Sister." All of a sudden three shots are fired!

Unity: Episode 4. The Cry

   At The Caswell Estate, Summer has sneaked around and has entered Lynn and Faye's Mansion, as Jake cries from his crib. Downstairs in the basement, Faye handcuffs Sage to a pole, as she yells "If anything happens, you die." Outside, Andy and Floyd has pulled up, as Hazel stands outside, and she looks at them, as Floyd asks Hazel "So this is where Faye lives?" Hazel looks at Andy and Floyd, and offers her condolences on Floyd's Daughter, Clair Feldman's murder, and Floyd tells Hazel "The only thing that will help me is seeing that bitch inside dead." Andy takes a deep breath, as he silently prays." Hazel tells Andy, Floyd, and now Bree, as she has pulled up "Someone else has went inside." All of them ask "Who?" Inside The Caswell Estate, Summer hears her Son, and tries to keep her composure, as she says to herself "Pace yourself." In the foyer, the woman stands inside, as she has rage in her eyes, and says in a wicked laugh "As many lives as you have ruined, I'd think you would lock your doors." Meanwhile Faye tapes Sage's mouth shut, as she hears footsteps and paranoia grows in her eyes, as she glares at her Daughter and heads upstairs.
    In Downtown Unity, Tenny and Ciarra Sullivan has arrived at Mitchell's, and they walk around for a moment, as Alexandra walks out, and goes "May I.... Tenny and Ciarra Sullivan?" Tenny looks at Alexandra, as does Ciarra, as Alexandra hugs them, and asks "What are the two of you doing in Unity?" Ciarra tells Alexandra, as Tenny walks around the store and browses "Floyd Jackson's in town, and I need to find him." Alexandra notices Precious, Tenny's Doberman, and asks Ciarra "What's the deal with that dog?" Tenny's looking at clothes, and yells "Anything for my little boy." Alexandra rolls her eyes, as Ciarra sighs "My Sister lives in her own world." Alexandra laughs "Intelligent people tend to live in their own world. At your age, you deserve that right." Ciarra gets back on subject, and asks Alexandra about Faye Caswell, and Alexandra tells Ciarra "She's really crazy. I'm not surprised at all at what she did in Adam's Landing. The gossip here is she's drugging Miles Caswell for her Husband." Ciarra goes "Lynn Caswell?" Tenny and Precious walks back over, as they conclude their meeting, and Alexandra tells them "There's been a lot of action I've heard around the Caswell Estate." Alexandra gives Ciarra and Tenny directions, and Tenny and Ciarra heads out, as Precious follows behind, as Ciarra tells her Sister "I'm driving." Tenny snaps "Shut up Ciarra!" The ladies bicker, as Ciarra gets behind the wheel, as they head over to The Caswell Estate.
    Meanwhile at Hazel's Home, Miles is distant, and confused, as Miles tells his Wife "I need to plow that field." Mary holds back her tears, as she says to her Husband "Popper, you can't. Our home was burned down. You tried to set a fire in the fireplace." Miles responds "I don't remember that ma'am." Mary's eyes swell with tears, as she looks at her Husband, and goes "I'm your Wife. Mama." Miles looks at Mary, and responds "I don't know who you are." Mary takes a deep breath, as she walks into the dining room, and looks out the window, and cries, as she says "I can't believe this. His memory was fine, and now he doesn't even know me.. my girls were right." Mary walks around the corner as Miles sits on the couch, with a distant look in his eyes, and Mary's heart breaks, as she begins to see the light. and shakes her head with hurt, and disgust.
   Meanwhile at The Gore Room, Desi sits at a table, as Kane arrives, and Desi asks "So what is it?" Kane tells her "Desi, Evan and Phillip Mitchell has vetoed the deal." Desi shrieks "What?" Kane shakes his head, as he tells her "I can't help that and apparently you've burned many bridges." Desi yells at Kane "Those bastards in Adam's Landing has destroyed me! All of them!" Evan walks inside, and looks at Kane and Desi, and tells Desi "Forget the deal, and leave town. There's no room for you in Unity." Desi gets up, and warns Evan "I am Desi Lane.." Meanwhile, Addie and Angie Gore, Addie's Daughter, and Evan's Sister walks inside, and Addie walks over, and Desi snaps "So you must be Evan's Mommy, and the bitch next to you must be his Wife." Angie holds back, as Addie tells Desi "Ms.Lane, I know your story very well. And people like you don't last here unless they are locked in a cell." Desi tells Addie "You can't write, and this girl looks like an inbreed." Addie slaps Desi across the face, as Evan and Kane backs off, and Angie warns Desi  "Nobody talks to my Mama like that." Addie tells her Daughter "I'll handle Desi." Addie tells Desi "That's my Daughter, and I am a world renowned author. This restaurant belongs to me, and get out and don't come back." Desi laughs "This town is pathetic. All of you are." Addie looks at Angie, and tells her "Do you want to do it, or should I?" Angie sternly tells Desi "Get out!" Desi snarks "Make me." Angie grabs Desi, and drags her out, as Evan and Kane watches on, as Evan tells Kane "Desi hasn't been here a day, and I think she's just made herself one adversary she didn't want to make." Addie walks over, and tells her Son "School had a early release, and I'm about to fix things for Desi." Addie walks out, as she sees Angie outside, and tells her Daughter "Let's go visit Alexandra."
   Back at The Caswell Estate, Summer hides, as does the other woman, as Faye yells "Who in the hell's in here?" Faye pulls out a pistol, and grabs Jake, and tells him "Mommy has you." Summer jumps out, with her pistol aimed at Faye, and screams "Give me my Son!" Behind Faye, the other woman stands, with a pistol also aimed at Faye, as she is quiet. Outside, Floyd looks at his Great-Nephew,and Great-Niece, and grabs his rifle, and walks up and kicks down the door, as he yells at Faye, with rage in his voice "This is for Clair!" Meanwhile at the UPD (Unity Police Department), Russell Marx, Summer's Father, and Paul Whitten arrives, as they are informed of the situation, as Lynn walks inside, and says "I have a confession." At Hazel's Home, Hazel has returned as Mary's called her, and Mary holds onto Hazel, as she cries "I should have believed you and Janet." Hazel consoles her Mother, as she sees her Father, with confusion in his eyes, and assures her Mother "Everything's about to be alright Mama." Back at The Caswell Estate, Ciarra, Tenny, and Precious drives up, as they walk up to Andy and Bree, and they tell Ciarra "Uncle Floyd's inside. He's armed." Back inside, Summer, Floyd, and the other woman are all aimed at Faye, as she holds Jake, and Summer screams "Give me my Son you deranged bitch!" Faye coldly looks around, and says "If I can't have Jake, nobody can." Faye sticks the pistol to Jake's head, as Summer's eyes grows red, as the standoff begins...

Unity: Episode 3. Motives And Skeletons

  It's a new day in Unity, as Summer walks downstairs at Hazel's Home, as Hazel, Kane, Mary, and Miles has breakfast, and Summer joins them as Mary asks her Great-Niece "How did you sleep last night?" Summer tells her "I slept ok. Cried most of the night. I really want Jake back." Mary assures her "You will have him soon. I am confident that the authorities are on it." Miles is distant, as he looks at Summer, and tells her "Isn't it time for school Janet?" Mary gently tells her Husband "Miles, this is Summer." Miles responds "Who is she?" Hazel looks at her Son, as they walk out of the dining room, and Kane looks at his Mother, and asks "You look like you're ready to kill. Did Faye come by here last night?" Hazel tells her Son "I've put the pieces together. And Janet has also. It's those pills, and Mama's too blind to see what's going on." Kane grows angry, as he calmly says "Uncle Lynn is one twisted bastard." Hazel nods, as she hugs her Son, and tells him "I'm going over there and visit him." Kane warns his Mother "I know you and Faye don't get along Mom, and she's crazy." Hazel pats her pocket, and Kane asks "Are you.." Hazel tells her Son in a cold, angry tone "I have Victor's gun in my pocket, and I know Faye's at Unity General. I called the Hospital this morning." Kane looks at his Mother, and advises her "Don't go to extremes." Hazel looks at Kane, and responds "Lynn and Faye doing this evil act is extreme. And I have had enough." Kane hugs his Mother, as he walks back inside the dining room, and hugs his Grandparents, and tells Summer "You don't worry about a thing. We all support you." Kane walks out, and Hazel tells her Parents "I'm heading out to Mitchell's for awhile." Hazel leaves, as Miles asks Mary "Where am I?" Mary tells her Husband "You know where you are Popper." Miles looks confused, and Mary tells him "Maybe you need your medicine."
  At The Gore Room, Alexandra sits at her table as she orders a cup of coffee with a spike of liquor, as she reads The Exposer, and Evan walks over, and Alexandra asks him "So have you and Kane come through on that tenant... oh wait, I heard." Evan has a look of defeat in his eyes, as he tells Alexandra "Phillip called you I see?" Alexandra snarls "Yes he did, and I don't want a convict mom with a reputation like hers in this town. Only room for one bitch, and here I am, my family name, and I know all too well about Desi Lane." Evan sits down, as he asks Alexandra "She called my Mom a moron when I went over and met her last night." Alexandra laughs "Addie's got more brains than Desi, and that book on Desi, that Rachel wrote.." Evan asks "Rachel? Wasn't she?" Alexandra acts shocked, and goes "Oh?" Evan tells her "Kane dated her at one time, and she told him her Mother was dead." Alexandra laughs "I'm surprised she isn't yet. Same goes for the slut." Meanwhile at Unity Prison, Desi walks inside the visitation room, as Michael Barr, Desi Lane's Oldest Son, is brought in, and Desi yells "Oh my God Michael! They are still beating you up in here? Who's doing this?" Michael starts to cry, and a window separates Desi and Michael, as Michael tells his Mother "My life is at stake Mom. My only ally was released, and I get hit and beaten every day. It's hell Mom." Desi cries, as she tells her Son "The Evans does have ties to gangs, especially Sayyid Ross." Michael tells his Mother "If I'm ever released, I'm going right back to Adam's Landing, and finish them people off."
   Meanwhile at Caney Head Chapel, Lynn walks into his office, as he sees Janet, and his Niece, Lacey packing up his office, and Lynn yells at them "What in the hell are the two of you doing?" Janet looks at her Brother, and tells him "Helping you get out of here." Lynn yells "I'm going nowhere Janet. Did Phillip tell you to do this?" Janet changes subjects and asks "Since when do you have a crying baby at your home?" Lynn grows quiet, as Lacey is dumbfounded, and Janet tells her Daughter "Yeah, looks like Faye decided to steal a child." Lynn snaps "I don't have no child at my home!" Janet responds "Then why are your phone and cell cut off Lynn? Somebody's hiding something. And it will bite you in the ass!"
   At Andy's home, Bree walks into the living room, and notices silence, as Andy has left, as have Floyd. Bree walks around the house for a moment, as she has a thought , and says to herself "This isn't good. Not good at all." Meanwhile at Unity General Medical Center, Andy and Floyd walks inside, as Floyd holds his chest, and Casey looks at him, and asks "Sir are you alright?" Floyd closes his eyes and says "I think I'm having a heart attack." Andy tells Casey "My Great-Uncle's been under a lot of stress lately. I think this is getting to him." Floyd tells Casey "I want Dr.Caswell to take care of me. I hear she's a great rep around here." Casey rolls her eyes, as she says "Whatever you say." Casey takes Andy and Floyd to the exam room, and once Casey walks out, Andy looks at his Great Uncle, as Floyd tells him "We worked well together Andy." Andy responds "So what's your plan?" Floyd pulls open his long coat, and tells his Great-Nephew "Revenge." At the Nurse's Station, Casey asks the nurse "Where's Dr.Faye?" The nurse responds "She called in sick today. Some stomach virus." Casey shakes her head, as she heads to the exam room, meanwhile, Hazel walks off, as she's unnoticed, as is someone else, as they follow Hazel.
   At the Caswell Estate, Sage sneaks inside, as she sees Jake, and picks him up, and feels a knife stroke her back, as her Mother asks "What in the hell are you thinking?" Sage looks at Faye, and tells her "I'm about to take this baby back to his Mother." Faye coldly, in a paranoid tone, warns her Daughter "Put him down, turn around, and leave. And pack up your shit and see if Addie will let you live with her." Sage snaps "I will do that, but this is about to end." Faye slaps her Daughter across the face, and screams "The only thing ending will be your miserable life if you run your mouth. Have you ran your mouth yet? You look guilty." Faye grabs Sage, as Sage tries to fight off her Mother, as Faye drags her downstairs into the basement, as Jake cries in his crib. Meanwhile outside, Summer stands, with a pistol in her hand, as she hears her Son cry, and walks around the home quietly, as she looks for a way inside.
   Back at Caney Head Chapel, Lynn denies having a part to play in the kidnapping of Jake, but Janet doesn't buy it, and yells at her Brother "You are killing Daddy, and Mama. You and that deranged bitch are tearing our family apart!" Lynn glares at Janet, as he shows regret in his eyes, and Lacey's silent, as Janet tells her Brother "Either you sign this, and leave this church, or I call Russell Marx." On the highway, Bree has located Summer's phone, and heads over to the Caswell Estate, as she almost gets ran off the road, as Floyd's pickup truck flies past, as Andy sits in the passenger seat, as Bree grows scared. Meanwhile at Caswell Estate, Summer finds an open door, and turns the doorknob. Inside, Sage is locked in the basement, as Faye ties her Daughter to a chair and warns her "If anything happens, you die, this baby dies, and so does your Grandparents and Addie!" Outside, Hazel walks up, with a pistol in her pocket, and runs into someone, and Hazel asks "Don't I know you?" The woman tells Hazel "This bitch is about to pay! Long time coming...

Unity: Episode 2. Power Highs And Sins

   Night time has fallen upon Unity, as Summer arrives at Hazel's Home, with Mary and Miles, as Andy and Bree has arrived, as Bree and Andy hug Summer, and tears flow from their faces, as Hazel, Janet, Miles, and Mary holds each other with tears in their eyes, and Hazel asks her Mother "So should I get another room ready?" Mary looks at her Daughters, and tells them "Summer will need us. She's our family." Janet walks over to Summer, and tells her "Welcome to Unity. And I really hope your little boy is found safe and alive." Hazel also says the same thing, as Andy and Bree watch on, and Mary tells them "Welcome to our quiet little town, and here's the keys to your home." Andy takes the keys, and asks Mary "Aunt Mary, why don't you and Uncle Miles stay there instead? Bree and I can stay in a motel." Hazel and Janet shakes their heads, as Mary tells him "Hazel wants us here, and Summer can stay with us." Hazel and Janet walks off, as Miles looks at Andy and Bree, and tells Bree "You resemble Ruth so much." Mary gently says to her Husband "Ruth's passing is still hard on them Popper." In the kitchen, Hazel and Janet looks at each other, as Janet asks "Wasn't Andy a criminal at one time?" Hazel nods, and reminds her Sister "He changed his ways." Janet tells her Sister "I think we should be wary." Hazel looks at Janet, and tells her "Having Andy leading the Church will be better than Lynn." Janet sighs "You are the words of wisdom. Only thing is we have to get  Lynn to sign these papers. Otherwise he'll be leading Sunday service, and I can't stand the sight of him." Hazel tells her Sister "How about we meet tomorrow and discuss things. Let me help Summer get settled in, and we'll finish where we left off." Hazel and Janet returns to the living room, and Janet hugs her Parents, and tells her Mother "Thank God you're home Mama." Mary hugs Janet, and Miles is quiet, as Janet tells him "No more driving." Miles doesn't respond, as Janet leaves, and Andy looks at Bree, as she sits next to her Sister, as they catch up, and tells her "Summer will be alright. Let's go settle in for the evening." Hazel tells them "Your home is paid for by the Chapel, and it's already furnished. It's down the street and across from street from the Chapel." Andy and Bree hugs Summer, as she tells her Sister and Cousin "We're finding my Son." Andy responds "Yes we are." Bree also agrees, as they leave, and Hazel tells Summer "My home is yours Summer." Hazel takes Summer to her room, as Mary and Miles sits downstairs together, as there's a knock at the door.
   At a bar in Unity, called "Gene's", Dr.Casey Ryan and her Brother, Jimmy Ryan has a few beers, as Jimmy prepares to head to Adam's Landing." Casey asks her Brother "So my little Brother's about to hit the big time?" Jimmy laughs "Looks like it. I can't wait either." Casey asks Jimmy "Well what's your plans? Are you staying here? Or moving?" Jimmy looks at Casey, and responds "Lacey wants to stay in Unity, so I will likely do so too. Hell it's not that far away and I talked to Mr.Jackson earlier in the evening. His Daughter In Law is Pregnant and he said I'll be driving her car, but I hate pink." Casey tells him "Shut up and take this chance. You're too damn superstitious." Jimmy sighs, as he takes another drink, and laughs "Well it's FJR! So I'm not missing out on this opportunity!" Lacey Mitchell, Daughter of Janet Mitchell, and Girlfriend of Jimmy Ryan walks inside and kisses him, and Jimmy hands her a beer, as Lacey tells him "So tomorrow, you'll be getting ready for your first big race. I need Casey to write me a script for some nerve pills to deal with this." Jimmy laughs "Lacey, it's alright!" Casey looks at Lacey, and tells her "We will both need nerve pills, but Jimmy will be fine at driving." Lacey sighs "I know he will, I'm just scared." Meanwhile at the bar, Floyd Jackson reads a newspaper, and catches up on what's happened back home, and the Bartender asks him "Sir do you need me to call a taxi? You have sat here and drank and drank." Floyd yells "I don't need no damn taxi! I want justice, and that's what I plan to get!" Floyd stumbles out, as he heads out to his truck, where Bree and Andy stands outside, and Floyd asks his Great-Nephew and Niece "What in the hell are the two of you doing here?" Andy and Bree notices the hurt and anger in Floyd's eyes, and his drunkenness, and Andy tells him "You're coming with us Uncle Floyd." Floyd yells "No hell I'm not. I want to kill that bitch that killed Clair!" Bree looks at him, and says "Hand me your keys. We know who's behind it." Floyd pulls his keys out and throws them at Bree, as she gets behind the wheel of Floyd's pickup, and they follow Andy to his new home.
   Meanwhile at Unity Town Center, Kane takes Desi Lane around the mall, as he's explained to her about the situation, and Desi tells Kane "I like that anchor space. Just large enough for a Department Store." Kane tells Desi "Evan's on his way over and we'll discuss our plans some more." Desi asks "Why is the mall so dead?" Kane tells her "The economy has hurt our town, with the mills closing, and people moving, now people are moving to Southpoint Beach, Capital City, Adam's Landing.." Desi laughs in a cocky tone "Hell I escaped Adam's Landing. That city is so damn corrupt that I have no idea why anyone would want to live there." Kane looks at Desi, and tells her "It's where the jobs are. People follow work." Evan walks inside, and Kane tells his best friend and co-owner "Here's the prospective tenant I was mentioning...." Evan steps back and tells Kane "Hell no Kane." Desi snarks "Oh? One of those goody goodies I see?" Evan looks at Desi, and tells her coldly "You are the most selfish person I've ever heard about. I do read The Exposer." Desi reminds Evan in a cocky tone "Yeah that bitch is a damn liar also! Screw that rag!" Evan reminds Kane "Phillip and Alexandra will have an issue with this Kane. And remember that contract with Emery's, and the family that owns Emery's?" Kane yells "We have no damn choice Evan! We have to find a tenant and fast!" Evan looks at Desi, as she glares at him, and Evan tells Kane "Phillip may be your Uncle, but he is about business, and I for one have no intentions to do business with a woman who'd have a young pregnant woman kidnapped for her selfish desires." Desi shrieks "What about redemption? I hear you all are religious? You sound like a hypocrite Evan Gore!" Evan shakes his head and warns Kane "I don't approve, and I know Phillip nor Alexandra will either." Desi yells "If they want money, I got it!" Evan tells Desi "My Mama always told me money doesn't mean shit. Her exact words." Desi snaps "Your Mother sounds like a disillusioned moron." Evan walks out, and Desi quickly asks Kane "So do we have a deal or not?" Kane looks at Desi, and tells her "Meet me tomorrow and we'll discuss things. Meet me at The Gore Room." Desi and Kane exchange numbers, as Desi tells him "I need to check on my Son, then I'll meet with you." Kane nods, as they walk out and head their separate ways.
    At the Caswell Estate, Lynn sits in his study, as he has realized the phone has been disconnected, along with his cell phone, as Jake cries, and Lynn takes a deep breath, as Faye has left, and sits and says to himself "Well at least now we can get back on track." Back at Hazel's Home, Faye has arrived, and Mary welcomes her Daughter In Law inside, as Faye tells Mary "My condolences on Ruth." Mary thanks her, and Miles looks at Faye, as she hands him some pills and tells him "I went ahead and ordered your new script. This should help your memory get even better." Mary thanks Faye, and asks her with concern in her voice "How are you dealing with Lynn's infidelity?" Faye sighs "The lord will take care of our family Mrs.Caswell. Now we just have to get Popper better." Meanwhile at the top of the stairs, Hazel has helped Summer settle in and watches below, as her eyes grow with anger, as Miles takes the pill, and Mary tells her Husband "Ok Popper, time for bed." Faye hugs them and welcomes them home, as she walks out. Mary and Miles heads upstairs, as Faye walks out, with an evil look in her eyes, as she returns home. Meanwhile inside, Mary and Miles turns in for the night, and Hazel is silent, as she pulls out a pistol, her Husband, Victor Craig gave her years ago, and looks at it, and thinks about Faye.
   Meanwhile at The Gore Farm, Sage sits in the kitchen with Addie, as Sage has confided in her former Teacher and "Second Mother" on what has went on, and Addie shakes her head, and tells Sage "Go rest. It's late and I need to sleep for work in the morning." Sage heads to the guest room, as Addie shakes her head with disgust and anger on her face, and makes a phone call. At Andy's Home, across from Caney Head Chapel, Andy and Bree had filled Floyd in on what they've learned, and Floyd tells them "So she killed Clair?" Bree tells her Great-Uncle "Looks to be the case." Floyd tells them, as he takes an aspirin "That bitch will get hers. I will make sure of it." At The Mitchell Manor, Janet returns, as Phillip and Alexandra sits together in the living room, and Janet asks her Husband and Sister In Law "I know that look." Phillip tells his Wife "Evan Gore just called me. If our Nephew does business with Desi Lane.." Janet asks "Desi Lane? Are you kidding me?" Alexandra gets up, and tells them "I plan to make a phone call in the morning and she won't last long in Unity. But I also have some ideas of my own." Alexandra walks out, and Janet tells her Husband "Alexandra is plotting and so are you." Phillip tells his Wife "I am calling Xavier Jackson tomorrow and try and dig up some dirt on Desi. Meanwhile on the outskirts of Unity, at a motel, a woman walks inside and checks into a room, and the clerk hands her a key, as she walks out, and reads below on the bounty on Jake, and has a look of revenge in her eyes.
 

Unity: Episode 1. Pilot

   In the town of Unity, the county seat of Antioch County, and a few hours South of Adam's Landing, inside Caney Head Chapel, Summer Marx feels a hand touch her shoulder as she has prayed for her newborn Son, Jake Russell Marx's return. Miles Caswell, Patriarch of The Caswell Family and Co-Owner of the Chapel, along with his Wife, Mary Love Caswell, stands behind her, as she turns around and asks Miles "Are you sure he will?" Miles looks at Summer, and asks her "Are you lost?" Summer somberly tells him "I am. My little boy was kidnapped, and I want him back. This is punishment I think. I've really done some horrible things." Miles sits next to Summer, and tells her "And all can be forgiven also." Summer tells Miles the story of her life, as he sits and listens silently.
   Meanwhile in Downtown Unity, sits the home of Hazel Craig, Oldest Daughter of Miles and Mary Caswell. Hazel walks downstairs and yells "Daddy?" Hazel looks outside, and notices her car is gone, and grows concerned, as Miles has the early stages of Alzheimer's, yet his memory seems to be returning. Hazel paces the floor for a moment, as she thinks, and she says to herself "He's at the Chapel." Hazel begins to pick up the phone, to call her Son, Kane Craig, as the door opens, and Hazel's eyes fills with tears, as she rushes to her Mother, Mary Love Caswell, as she cries "Mama! You're back." Mary hugs Hazel, and she too, has tears in her eyes, as she tells her Daughter "I stopped by the farm and saw the remains." Hazel gets emotional, as she tells her Mother "I have looked for a contractor, but haven't found one yet." Mary tells Hazel "Don't worry about that dear. I think I know who I'll hire to rebuild the house." Hazel asks "Who?" Mary tells her Daughter "Floyd Jackson." Hazel is stunned, as she asks her Mother "Wasn't he the first man you fell in love with Mama?" Mary looks at Hazel and tells her Daughter "He was, but he is highly regarded when it comes to construction. He actually designed the Chapel when Miles and I restored it and added the expansion. He was always great at his craft." Hazel is quiet, and Mary asks "Where's my Popper?" Hazel looks down, and sighs "Mama he left. I think he went to the Chapel. He doesn't need to be driving. Not with the Alzheimer's." Mary reminds her Daughter "The lord is working miracles on him Hazel. His memory's coming back. He called me the other day." Hazel is silent, as she tells her Mother "I know Mama. Something doesn't add up though." Mary looks at Hazel, and asks "What do you mean by that?" Hazel tells her Mother "Mama, Alzheimer's doesn't get better. You need to stop being so trusting of people. And look at things as they are. Something's definitely going on, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if.." Mary stops Hazel and tells her sternly "Hazel I won't hear it. Faye wouldn't hurt your Daddy. She wouldn't." Hazel tells her Mother "I have never trusted her, and I wouldn't. And Lynn's tearing our family apart." Mary takes a deep breath, and tells her Daughter "I don't want to talk about this. I'm going to see my Popper." Mary walks out, as she heads over to Caney Head Chapel, as Hazel shakes her head and says "Open your eyes Mama."
   At the Caswell Estate, where Reverend Lynn Caswell and Faye Caswell reside, Lynn hears Jake cry, and Faye rocks him, as she tells the baby "Mommy's here. Mommy's here." Lynn looks at his Wife and warns her "He needs his Mother Faye." Faye looks at her Husband, and snaps "Why Lynn, so you can go screw another whore? Oh the good reverend doing deeds under the sheets I see?" Lynn yells back "You kidnapped a child Faye. And that child is the Attorney General's Grandson! And all my cousins in Adam's Landing has a bounty out." Faye looks at Lynn, and tells her Husband calmly "Well Hubby, they can kiss my ass. This is our child. We can get things right this time, unlike we did with our two other mistakes." Lynn grows silent, as Younger Daughter, Sage Caswell walks downstairs, with her bags packed, and tells her parents "The two of you make me sick." Faye and Lynn snap back "You make us sick also." Sage gets upset, as she yells "As soon as I turn 18 next week, my ass is out of here. I'll probably go join my Sister in Adam's Landing!" Faye looks at Lynn, and hands Jake to him, and grabs Sage, and warns her "If you dare say a damn word to anybody about your new Brother, I will kill you Sage." Sage looks at her Parents, and tells them "Karma will do both of you in." Faye walks over, and pulls out a knife, and tells her Daughter "Karma doesn't exist, but you know better than to test me." Sage storms out, as Lynn tells Faye "This isn't going to end well. My career's at stake.." Faye yells "And it's your fault also." Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, and outside stands Lynn's Youngest Sister, Janet Mitchell, and the lights goes out inside the Caswell Estate, as Janet looks down, and sends a text, as she returns to her home, The Mitchell Manor.
   Meanwhile on the outskirts of Unity, sits the Gore Farm, where Addie Gore resides in a modest home, as her Son Evan has a Mansion close by, and her Youngest Daughter, Angie lives on the property as well. Addie sits in her living room, as she grades papers, and her Son, Evan walks inside and laughs "Why am I not surprised you are in here grading papers." Addie tells her Son "I love teaching, It's a beautiful thing to impact so many young children's lives." Evan asks "Where's my Sister?" Addie tells him "Likely doing the same thing I'm doing." Evan walks around his Mother's living room, where canvas lays around, and Addie's paintings hangs upon the walls, and he tells his Mother "With all you do Mama, you don't need to keep teaching. You are a world renowned Author, and yet you still teach after 40 years." Addie tells her Son "Evan, I appreciate your concerns, but I'm not retiring, and I'm not going to listen to this." Evan tells his Mother "I just worry about you Mama. That's all." Addie looks at her Son, and tells him "You have always been a great Son. But I will know when my time is done." Evan hears a car pull into the driveway, as he looks at his Mother, and Addie and Evan walks out onto the front porch, as Andy Jackson and Bree Jackson Corbin pulls up, and Addie asks them "May I help you?" Andy looks at Addie, and asks "Where's Caswell Acres? It's on this road, but we didn't see Mary and Miles' home place." Addie tells them "It burned down a few weeks ago." Evan looks at Andy for a moment, and goes "You're the new reverend of Caney Head Chapel aren't you?" Andy nods, and Addie sighs "Well Andy welcome to Unity.    At a restaurant in Unity, called "The Gore Room", which is located on the Antioch Square, and was once part of Gore's Department Store, Phillip Mitchell, and Kane Craig discuss the issues involving the scandal that has rocked Caney Head Chapel. Phillip tells his Nephew "Your Mother and Aunt are both convinced he's after more." Kane, looks at his Uncle, and tells him "Uncle Phillip, we have to think carefully before taking action. Papaw has Alzheimer's, and Mamaw has returned home." Phillip checks his phone, and Kane checks his text, and says "She's thinks it's a miracle about Papaw's memory." Phillip leans across the table to Kane, and tells him "Kane, Lynn and Faye Caswell's two of the most screwed up people I've ever met in my life. That smug bastard's trying to take control of his family estate. Janet is convinced, Hazel's convinced, I'm convinced, and Rose bolted town.." Kane reminds his Uncle "She was also escaping Todd also." Phillip tells his Nephew "Todd was released from Prison and left town." Kane asks "How did you find out?" Phillip laughs "My last name is Mitchell Kane. We find out what happens in this town, Alexandria and I know everything that happens in this town, and you need to find some stores to fill that mall before I call in on that loan." Kane rolls his eyes, as he grows frustrated, and tells his Uncle "Unity's a small town, and no major Department Store will take the space. How about you and Alexandra open in the space? Downtown's dying." Phillip gets up, and tells his Nephew "It would be the dumbest move we make to operate two locations, in a town that has a falling economy." Phillips walks out, and reminds Kane "You have until the end of the week." Phillip heads off, as Kane begins to head out, and bumps into Alexandra Mitchell Boyd, Oldest Sister of Phillip Mitchell, and she tells him "Get your shit together Kane. I have ideas of my own." Alexandra walks out, as Kane feels defeated, and calls Evan, and doesn't get a response, and Kane sighs "I'm screwed." A woman looks at Kane, and says "I can save you."
    Back at Hazel's home, Hazel sits in her living room, as she looks up and prays "Please open Mama's eyes." Janet arrives, as she walks inside, and tells her Oldest Sister "I went over to Lynn and Faye's, and neither of them opened the door." Hazel asks her Sister "So he didn't sign those resignation papers?" Janet shakes her head, and tells Hazel "I heard some fighting inside, and a baby cry." Hazel is silent, and looks at her Sister, as they both have the same thought. At the Caswell Estate, Faye rocks Jake to sleep, as Lynn sits in his study, and picks up the phone. At Caswell Acres, the home place of Mary and Miles, Sage sits outside, as she looks at the charred remains of her Grandparents home, and cries "I hate you Mom and Dad. I hope both of you burn in hell!" Meanwhile Andy and Bree follows Evan to Hazel's home, as Andy drives and Bree sits next to him, and they notice a pickup truck parked in front of a bar as they near their destination, and Bree tells her Cousin "That truck looks like Uncle Floyd's." Meanwhile at Caney Head Chapel, Miles has listened to Summer, and puts his arm around her, and says to her "Come with me umm." Summer tells him "My name is Summer Marx." Miles goes "Yes Yes. Summer. Come with me. We'll take care of you." Mary walks inside the Chapel, and sees Miles and Summer and yells "Popper!" Miles and Summer turns around, as Miles and Mary run into each others arms and Miles cries "Thank God you're home Mama." Miles tells his Wife "This young girl needs some help." Mary looks at Summer, and hugs her, and tells her Husband "Miles, she's Ruth's Granddaughter. And she will come home with us."
